US and UK regulators sign MoU to improve market surveillance

The MoU is designed to improve the information exchange between the two services and support cross-market surveillance operations. The agreement will also enhance their response to potentially abusive or manipulative trading practices. The agreement says co-operation will primarily be achieved through ongoing, informal verbal consultations.

More in-depth information sharing will be used to address specific market surveillance concerns and enforcement issues.
