Merrill Names Derivatives Chiefs As New Global FX Co-Heads

Merrill Lynch has appointed two co-heads of its global foreign exchange group to replace London-based Martin Loat, who left the investment bank in March to "pursue personal interests," according to officials.

T.J. Lim, currently trading manager of non-dollar swaps, will continue to be based in London, while Joseph Argilagos, currently head of Merrill's investor strategies and its global credit derivatives groups, will continue to be based in New York. Both men will retain their current
