Multinet Plans 'Netting Plus' To Reduce FX Risk For Users

Multinet International Bank, the bank-structured clearing house for foreign exchange transactions, is developing a system that will allow participants to use a "netting plus" strategy that would reduce cash settlements in US dollars and could eliminate settlements in other currencies.

"Basically what this will do is help traders so they will no longer be concerned with the cash results of trades with various backs going in and out of their accounts," says Alastair Mirrlees, senior risk officer
