Bloomberg Makes Leap To New Customizable Desktop
NEW YORK--Marking a major change in strategy, market data giant Bloomberg is upgrading its service to offer a greater degree of display flexibility and customization. The change will also allow users to view Bloomberg data alongside third-party data on the same screen.
By introducing the multi-functioned Bloomberg Desktop, Bloomberg will be competing head on with other integrated desktops, such as those offered by Bridge and Reuters.
