CIBC Upgrades In London As Part Of Global Project

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), one of the big six Canadian banks, is upgrading its London dealing room with a 50-position Reuters Triarch 2000 system and specialized risk management software. The system will support roughly 25 foreign exchange traders at the bank.

According to Paul Birstonas, European projects manager at CIBC, the changes are part of a global front-to-back-office automation project, standardizing on Reuters' Triarch 2000 digital data distribution system with risk
