Connectivity provider Avelacom is opening an office in Singapore to take advantage of the increasing demand for low-latency connectivity in Asia-Pacific.

Driven partly by the proliferation of cryptocurrency exchanges in the region, Avelacom has seen the number of requests for new professional-grade connections between APAC trading venues and entities in both Europe and the US increase by double-digit figures over the past year.
