JP Morgan pushes e-FX in Japan

The bank has moved Hiroyuki Oishi to JP Morgan Express (JPeX) from a sales role in a bid to boost the platform.

The bank is focusing on providing the platform to meet client needs in electronic trading, and "is not necessarily trying to encourage clients to shift to e-trading but we will do if the need exists", said Junpei Yamamoto, head of the global currency and commodity group at JP Morgan Chase in Tokyo.

The roll-out of JPeX in the country will also help the bank focus resources on providing
