SeoulBank introduces electronic FX to S Korea

SEOUL -- Market participants in South Korea got their first taste of online FX trading last week, as SeoulBank launched its Cyber FX Market platform.

The service went live last Tuesday (September 17), and offers small and medium-sized firms spot FX trading. The bank charges 0.075% commission on each deal -- considerably lower than the 0.99% currently charged by banks for offline transactions, a spokesperson for SeoulBank in Seoul told FX Week.
