CLS firms-up 2002 launch

NEW YORK -- CLS Bank International last week announced a firm live date for first-half 2002.
CLS has previously had to delay the launch of the system due to requests for extra testing time from IBM, which developed the core technology for the system.
"CLS itself is ready," a spokesperson for the group told FX Week. "The operations are in place and the liquidity arrangements are all ready."
Technology delivered
The technology has now been delivered by IBM, the spokesperson said, and is undergoing
