Disaster recovery passes ultimate test

NEW YORK -- Disaster recovery systems have been put to the ultimate test over the past two weeks -- and most banks have reported few glitches with their procedures.

One analyst said preparations made for Y2K may have helped banks prepare their data recovery and processing systems for the events of September 11.
