ACI Beirut Congress: exhibition preview
Among the 30 vendors and banks showcasing their products are spot broker EBS and trading technology vendor Bloomberg, sharing a stand for the first time to promote their joint venture EBS Trader on Bloomberg (EBSToB).
EBS said it has already received over 2000 orders for EBSToB, EBS’s conversational dealing product, which will be exclusively available on Bloomberg terminals from the end of September.
Multi-bank platform FXall will preview the latest addition to its suite of services - a prime brokerage tool that automates the give-up process for banks and their customers. It will also demonstrate its Settlement Center service that provides automated confirmation matching, settlement instruction enrichment, seamless notification of custodians and automated calculation of netting instructions for both on- and off-platform deals.
New-York based currency manager FX Concepts will demonstrate its latest advancements in FX options, emerging markets and interest rates. The firm supplies intra-day, daily and weekly research services, offering trading ideas and analysis based on its own proprietary analytical tools and systematic strategies.
Fenics FX 9.0, the latest version of inter-dealer broker and market data vendor GFI’s options pricing tool will be on display at the GFI stand. New functionality includes an enhanced interface for pricing, greater position-keeping capability and advanced developments in exotic maths.
Web-based learning firm Intuition will promote its award-winning financial markets training package, Intuition Web. Based upon the ACI syllabus, it has been developed to cover all aspects of wholesale banking.
US investment bank JP Morgan will demonstrate its single bank trading platform JPMorgan eXpress, which offers live streaming click and trade prices in FX and a range of other asset classes. The bank will also preview EBS Prime Brokerage, in which it is participating, its CLS third party services and demonstrate its liquidity outsourcing product.
French technology vendor Murex will demo its platform Mx G2000, which supports the trading and processing life cycle of FX, interest rates, equity, credit, and commodities.
UK trading technology and information vendor Reuters will hit back at rivals EBS and Bloomberg with its stand showcasing the full range of Reuters products - from Automated Dealing to solutions for order management, risk and limit management solutions, as well as a whole range of new data and application enhancements to Reuters 3000 Xtra.
Saxo Bank, the Copenhagen-based investment bank will showcase its trading platform, SaxoTrader, which is used by professional traders, institutional clients, white label partners and their retail customers.
At stand S6, New-York based risk management vendor Wall Street Systems will present the currency options module of its Wall Street System treasury engine. Latest developments to the system include the ability to pre-configure packages such as straddles and risk reversals.
