RBS migrates FXstream to Caplin
The bank has migrated its FX portal to Caplin Systems’ Liberator platform. It runs on Solaris, together with StreamLink for Java and associated toolkits.
"We launched FXstream in 2003, offering 24-hour live pricing and trade entry to our clients," said Martin Spurr, head of e-ventures at RBS. "As market demand increased, it became necessary to upgrade the technology that supported the real-time element of the portal."
Caplin technology connects over 100 institutional customers to RBS’s trading
