CLS Services, Echo and Multinet officially merged on January 7, officials say. Meanwhile, Echo reports Bank Austria and Creditanstalt both intend to sign on to its multilateral forex netting service and that the New Zealand dollar began clearing on December 19. Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank London went live on December 12 and Kredietbank London is also beginning live operation, Echo officials say. Echo is now live at 44 banks and 42 branches, while 121 branches are currently slated to come online
