BankBoston is expanding and upgrading its Singapore trading floor with new desktop applications and personnel, largely because the bank has decided to begin trading in fixed income securities in Asia. The trading applications that will be implemented in Singapore are the same ones in use by the bank at its Boston headquarters, says Brian Brennan, BankBoston's head of technology for Asia.
