Greenwich Survey Finds Canadian Corporate Business 'Unrewarding'

Banks are stepping back from FX dealing with most Canadian corporates, according to Greenwich Associates' recently released Canadian corporate finance and treasury report for 1994. "Many banks and other dealers are finding most Canadian customers' foreign exchange trading so unrewarding that they are walking away from it," says the report.

The research on FX was based on interviews with 215 senior treasury managers at multinational corporations, large domestic companies and foreign subsidiaries
