Sambrani joins Barclays, Singapore in EMFX options

Singapore: Sagar Sambrani relocated from Hong Kong in June for his new role

Barclays Investment Bank has hired Sagar Sambrani as an emerging markets foreign exchange options trader in Singapore, FX Week has learned.

Sambrani joined the firm after spending almost four years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he worked as a FX trader, based in Mumbai, and later as an emerging markets FX options trader, based in Hong Kong.

He began his career as a sales trader at Royal Bank of Scotland in Mumbai, where he worked in FX and money market trading for almost three years.
