Moving on: Astaburuaga-Torres started working at HSBC in Chile before heading to New York

Manuel Astaburuaga-Torres, a foreign exchange cash trader at HSBC, has left the bank, FX Week has learned.

Astaburuaga-Torres joined the bank in 2011 as a foreign exchange trader in Santiago, Chile.

He moved to the New York office in 2014, as an emerging markets trader and vice-president.

Prior to HSBC, he was an FX trader at BBVA Chile, beginning in 2008.

HSBC declined to comment on personnel moves.
