Silver quits Morgan Stanley for Deutsche

John Silver, managing director in foreign exchange sales at Morgan Stanley in New York, has left the bank and will take a similar role at Deutsche Bank.

Silver was named co-head of North American FX sales at Morgan Stanley in mid-2007, having previously been an executive director in FX sales. Along with co-head Julia Sands, his mandate was to grow Morgan Stanley's FX franchise and focus on the flow and macro aspects of the bank's FX distribution effort.

It is understood Silver will take a senior
