Sahni sabbatical creates vacancy at BAML

Vinit Sahni, head of rates and currencies sales for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and global head of hedge fund and central bank sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), has taken sabbatical leave from the bank.

Based in London, Sahni reported to Sanaz Zaimi and Bryan Weadock, global co-heads of fixed income, currencies and commodities (Ficc) sales. He is understood to have left the bank in April but the duration of his leave is not yet known

Sahni joined BAML in January 2010
