Polverino lures ex-Merrill colleagues to RBS sales

LONDON - Antonio Polverino, head of institutional sales for fixed income, currencies and commodities at RBS in London, is reported to have brought in three ex-colleagues from Merrill Lynch to join him in his new role.

Samir Atassi, Merrill's former global head of the emerging markets group for central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has already joined RBS. He had worked at the US bank for a decade by the time he left in June, including stints as head of equity derivatives sales
