BNP Paribas wins sex discrimination case

In a statement released last Thursday (June 21), BNP Paribas said all Tofeji's claims against the bank were deemed unsubstantiated by the tribunal.

In April 2007, Tofeji attempted to sue the bank for £1.35 million ($2.7 million) for direct and indirect discrimination and victimisation, failure to agree to requests for flexible working hours, failure to allow her to return to her original job after maternity leave, and unfair dismissal (FX Week, April 23). Tofeji joined the bank in October 2000
