Deutsche Bank hires head of rates trading

Deutsche Bank has hired Tom Hartnett as managing director and head of core rates trading within the bank’s global rates business. Hartnett will oversee swaps, core options, government and agency bond trading at the bank in New York. He will report to Jon Kinol, head of global rates in North America.

Hartnett rejoins from Lehman Brothers where he was head of swaps trading in New York. Hartnett left Deutsche Bank for Lehman Brothers in 2005.
