Strategists in demand
Merrill Lynch has made two additions in global FX and currency strategy. In London, it has hired Steven Englander as head of G10 FX strategy, reporting to Alex Patelis, head of global FX and local currency strategy.
Englander will co-ordinate the team’s G10 FX forecasts. He joins from Barclays Capital, where he was New York-based chief FX strategist for the Americas.
The bank has also hired Onur Aydogan to head its EMEA local strategy team, based in London.
He joins from Wellington Management in
