BNP expands in Europe

In London, BNP Paribas is said to have hired Isin Sumengen-Ziel in FX sales. Sumengen-Ziel previously sold emerging market FX and rates products to Turkish and European clients at WestLB, from May 2005 until August this year.

In Madrid, the bank is believed to have recruited Edgard Berenguer as a structurer for institutional customers. Berenguer joined from the Madrid office of French rival Calyon.
