Bear Stearns builds up in New York and Hong Kong

Bear Stearns has made senior appointments in Hong Kong and New York to increase its capabilities in the FX derivatives and hedge fund area.

Stanley Zau has joined the bank as a senior managing director and runs the Hong Kong office. He joined from Merrill Lynch, also in Hong Kong, where he ran fixed income and FX for non-Japan Asia. He reports to Bernd Bröker, head of London FX at Bear Stearns on the options side, and David Schoenthal, senior
