Ex-BNP FX head joins Bear
Meinnel replaces Bernd Bröker as the US investment bank's head of European FX and global options in a move to further develop the global options business, according to David Schoenthal, New York-based global head of FX and precious metals.
Schoenthal said Meinnel's experience creating a successful global operation in options trading was key. "We opened up a Hong Kong office a year and a half ago, and we want to build up our business on a global basis," he said.
