Deutsche and RBC appoint senior currency strategists

Deutsche Bank has hired Koji Fukaya as a senior currency strategist in Tokyo, as part of an effort to develop its global FX research solutions and strategy for clients.
Fukaya joined the German bank on January 16 from the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, where he had been chief economist since July 2004. Prior to that, he was chief analyst in the forex and treasury division of the Japanese institution from October 1997.
