BarCap loses two, gains one in London

Des Byrne, head of emerging market FX sales at the bank in London, is said to be taking a nine-month sabbatical. Byrne has worked for BarCap since December 2001.

It is thought that Byrne will not be directly replaced during his sabbatical. Instead, BarCap's emerging market sales team will be split on a regional basis, with Ramin Shayesteh acting as head of sales for the Middle East.
