BoA continues hiring bonanza

LONDON/NEW YORK -- Bank of America last week announced 14 new hires to its global FX business, snaring a host of top names.

The hires have been made at BoA’s centres in London, New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo over a two- to three-month period, and follow the bank’s announcement of seven new FX recruits in April (FX Week, May 6). Larry Baum, global head of spot, forward and proprietary trading at BoA in New York, said further hires could be expected, but could not give figures.
