JP Morgan Staff Fears Over Chase Manhattan Supremacy In Top FX Jobs Following Merger

PEOPLE NEWS

NEW YORK--FX staff at Chase Manhattan Bank are likely to take the top FX jobs as Chase integrates JP Morgan's FX team in coming weeks, say recruiters in the New York and London FX markets.

Recruiters say FX job losses at the merged group are very likely to come from Morgan. Morgan has the smaller foreign exchange team and is seen by analysts as the junior partner in the deal.

The merged group will be known as JP Morgan Chase & Co, and will have estimated assets of $660 billion.
