Quotron Loses Head Of Its FX Sales Effort; Possible EBS Hardware Upgrade Needed

Quotron Systems Inc.'s foreign exchange staff took another hit last week. The Citicorp subsidiary, which reduced its foreign exchange operations and sales staff earlier this fall (FX Week, October 12), continues to shrink. William Barnicle, the head of sales for Quotron's foreign exchange business, jumped ship last week, officials there confirm.

Quotron says only that Barnicle "was nearing the end of his contract and decided to go do other things." Barnicle couldn't be reached for comment. Nick
