Rooke Returns To Forex Market To Help Sakura Bank Expansion

Former BZW global foreign exchange and money markets chief Dennis Rooke, aged 50, has come out of retirement to join Sakura Bank in London as a senior advisor in a new push by the Japanese giant in treasury and capital markets.

Rooke, who joined Sakura in mid-March, has recruited Richard MacDonald, former global FX trading head at BZW, as FX manager in London. MacDonald left BZW in January after a restructuring.

According to Rooke, his remit at Sakura is to help the bank expand and upgrade its FX
