Wallis promoted at Morgan Stanley, Hong Kong

New role follows 10 years in prime brokerage sales at the bank

David Wallis took on the new role of Asia-Pacific head of prime brokerage (PB) sales and derivatives clearing at Morgan Stanley in April, FX Week has learned.

Wallis joined Morgan Stanley in FXPB sales, Europe in 2009, and became head of FXPB Asia less than a year later, holding the role for three years.

Following that he worked in PB sales for more than six years at the bank.

Wallis began his career in FX and derivatives PB at Goldman Sachs in 2005.
