Darren Coote is to become the managing director of Cobalt, after serving as strategic adviser, as well as investing in the FX post-trade processing firm. He assumes the day-to-day management of the company ahead of key product launches.

Coote is to lead the shared back- and middle-office FX infrastructure firm co-founded by Andy Coyne and Adrian Patten, after working for more than 25 years in foreign exchange.
