Crypto ETFs a reality within two years, say panellists

The first cryptocurrency ETFs will appear within the next two years, and institutional investors will become increasingly involved with crypto markets as regulatory standards evolve, panellists said at the fourth FX Week Australia conference on May 8.

Hedge funds and dedicated funds trading in the cryptocurrency market can tap into some $20 billion of global liquidity daily, on-exchange or on a bilateral basis, according to Henrik Anderson, chief investment officer of Australian crypto fund
