Extra strength: GTX adds muscle to its registered swaps dealer arm

GTX, the institutional foreign exchange trading arm of Gain Capital, has made two senior hires to boost its registered swaps dealer arm, which provides agency execution services in spot, forwards, non-deliverable forwards, swaps and options in major and emerging market currencies. 

David O'Connor joins as a managing director from BTIG, where he spent almost two years as a director in FX. Previously, he worked at Macquarie Bank in FX sales for more than three years and at Societe Generale before
