Saxo appoints vom Scheidt as global head of FX

Saxo Bank has appointed Kurt vom Scheidt as global head of foreign exchange to replace the outgoing head of the business, Gustave Rieunier, who has held the post for the past five years and is leaving the firm.

Singapore-based vom Scheidt joined Saxo in 2008 from GFI, where he had been FX product manager in London since 2005. Previously, he worked at Commerzbank, most recently as global head of markets business management, based in London. He also worked at Deutsche Bank earlier in his career.
