CFTC's Libor leading investigator appointed deputy head of enforcement
The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has appointed Gretchen Lowe as principal deputy director and chief counsel of the division of enforcement. Lowe had been acting director since David Meister left the role in October 2013, until the appointment of his replacement, Aitan Goelman, earlier this month. Specialised in manipulation and trade practice as a senior trial attorney, Lowe served for more than 11 years in
