BNP Paribas hires e-FX sales head for Asia-Pacific

BNP Paribas has announced the hire of Ashvin Parkash as head of electronic foreign exchange sales for Asia-Pacific, as it continues to expand its FX business globally.

Based in Singapore, Parkash reports locally to Florian Dumas, head of institutional interest rate FX sales, Asia-Pacific ex-Japan, and will focus on distributing the bank's cross-asset trading platform Cortex across institutional client segments in the region.

Parkash joins from Citi, where he was director and trading product
