Deutsche gains ex-Credit Suisse hedge fund sales head

Thomas Farrer, formerly European head of foreign exchange hedge fund sales at Credit Suisse, is set to join Deutsche Bank in a similar role, starting next week.

Based in London, Farrer will report to Brian Sweetnam, now head of FX sales to leveraged institutional clients following a shake-up of Deutsche's institutional FX sales management in Europe in October 2012.

Farrer had worked at Credit Suisse for almost seven years before leaving the bank in late 2012. He joined from Bear Stearns, where
