FX trading chief to leave Goldman Sachs

Nick Burgin, global head of foreign exchange trading at Goldman Sachs in London, is leaving the bank this month after 16 years.

Burgin joined Goldman Sachs in 1996 to work on the FX options trading desk in New York and, after a brief stint away from the bank, he rejoined in 1999 as head of Tokyo FX trading. In 2003, he moved to London to become global head of FX options trading, progressing to global chief operating officer for G-10 FX trading and then global head of FX trading from 2011.
