FXCM recruits ex-sales head after Alpari stint

Mark Davison, formerly global head of institutional sales at online foreign exchange broker Alpari, has rejoined FXCM in a similar role, having originally left the company just over two years ago.

Based in London, Davison began his role earlier this month and will report to Andreas Putz, global head of FXCM Pro in New York. At Alpari, Davison reported to Daniel Skowronski, chief executive of Alpari UK, and was responsible for running QuantumFX, the broker's credit-driven institutional offering
