BBVA expands in London with key hires

Spanish bank BBVA has appointed Malcolm Day, formerly head of foreign exchange trading for the Middle East and North Africa at HSBC, as its new global head of FX trading for emerging markets.

Day relocates from Dubai to London to take on the new role, and will report locally to Andrew Brown, global head of FX. His appointment coincides with that of Danny Olive, who will join later this year in emerging market FX sales in London, reporting to Lewis Azofra, global head of FX sales.
