Lawrie to retire from senior trading role at BNY Mellon

Kevin Lawrie, head of the trading desk at BNY Mellon Global Markets in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will retire from his role at the end of this month.

Lawrie joined Mellon Financial in 1992 as a senior vice-president for foreign exchange operations, and has since held a number of roles, including head of FX trading, prior to Bank of New York's acquisition of Mellon in 2007. He has also worked in trading roles at Bank of New Zealand and Bank of Boston.
