Welsh and O’Sullivan head FX at Jefferies

Jefferies Bache, a division of US investment bank Jefferies that was formed after the acquisition of brokerage and clearing firm Prudential Bache last year, has appointed Ben Welsh and Dan O'Sullivan as global head of foreign exchange and head of FX trading respectively.

Based in New York, Welsh and O'Sullivan have worked together previously at UniCredit and HSBC. Welsh most recently worked in JP Morgan's proprietary trading business, covering FX, rates and commodities – a position he took up in
