Credit Suisse has appointed David Tait global head of foreign exchange trading.

Based in London, Tait will start in the newly created role in January and report locally to Todd Sandoz, global head of foreign exchange and short-term interest rates trading.

Tait joins from UBS, where it is understood he worked in proprietary trading. His new role will give him responsibility for risk management and trading across FX spot and options, as well as developing Credit Suisse's customer franchise in FX.
