Anshu Jain to become Deutsche Bank's co-chief executive
Deutsche Bank has announced the promotion of Anshu Jain from his current role as head of corporate and investment banking to co-chief executive, effective from the bank's annual general meeting in May 2012.
Jain joined Deutsche from Merrill Lynch in 1995, and pioneered its growth as a major investment bank and derivatives house. He has been a member of the group executive board since 2002, and joined Deutsche Bank's management board in 2009.
