UGS signs Kiwi start-up as first client

North Carolina-based technology vendor Unified Global Solutions (UGS) has signed New Zealand currency trading firm ForexAtom as its first client, a month after it launched its Adaptware platform to enable investment managers to deploy foreign exchange trading algorithms typically used only by bank proprietary traders.

UGS has been developing its technology for three years and launched Adaptware on May 25. The platform provides real-time analysis on eurodollar contracts. ForexAtom is a start-up
