The exchange said just under 595,000 contracts were traded, with the majority traded in euro FX futures products. Euro FX futures hit $89.4 billion in notional value with more than 541,000 contracts traded, also a record. Overall, CME transacted a total of $177.5 billion across all currency pairs, representing the third largest trading day on record and second for total volume).
