Credit Suisse wins one, loses one

LONDON - Richard Elliott, a key player in Credit Suisse's electronic foreign exchange business has left the bank.

As director of eFX options in London, he helped develop the Swiss bank's proprietary electronic trading platform, Merlin, in 2006. At the time he commented: "Merlin has greatly improved the trading volumes Credit Suisse can handle.
